Just to say....
As a gamer, I have to explain how I went from being a guy who looked at games and the industry thinking, "Please, we need to play, buy, and preserve all of this because it's such a huge part of my life," to "Maybe it's time to watch it all burn."

When you look at AAA game after AAA game, releasing everything with so many flaws, you lose hope of ever seeing what once made you passionate about all of this.

So let's take a look at this game: huge price tag. Unfair, in my opinion. DRM. Requiring an SSD and an RT-capable GPU. And I'm even seeing all the DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and other things that will probably ruin the lore.

But speaking of the requirements, I have the best WD SSD, and it currently has more than 1TB free. I also have an RX 7900 XT. It supports RT, but if I were someone who cared about RT, I would never buy a card from AMD. To be honest, I hate RT in games. Most of the time, it doesn't look better, and all the games become unstable as hell.

Right now, I saw a video on YouTube where a game was "enhanced" for the PS5 Pro. To run at 60fps, the base resolution is 720p. 720p!!!!

These guys are doing an amazing job of making me lose all faith in their products. The last Steam sale was the worst for me. It’s nothing like the old days when I’d buy 10 to 15 games at once and love every single one of them. Now, I buy 2, refund 2, buy 3 more, refund 1 more…

Just saying, mark my words: Every single game that demands an SSD has huge performance problems. An SSD only helps with loading assets and shaders. Every game that requires an SSD makes your SSD more important for stable performance than your CPU or GPU. Games like the Dead Space remake, The Callisto Protocol (when it was released), Evil West...

I don't even understand how people are still loving every new game right now. This year? Only the Elden Ring DLC is good.

releasing a game with such high specs would be only justfied if it sets new technical standards like cyberpunk did.
Its insane to lock out maybe 70% of the playerbase with such high min specs.
I own a 4070rtx but my cpu is older and i can already tell that i cant even play this in 1080p and even if i could i dont want at low settings:)

The question here is not only about if you have the requirements.
With a RX 7900xt and a Ryzen 7900x, with 64gb 6000hz I can easly have it. But, like I said. I'm totally sure this game will be instable no matter what hardware do you have. Like many other releases.

So he can pay a lot of money to upgrade his CPU/mobo/ram and in the end still have a bad gameplay.
