Premium edition preorders
So which one of you preordered the premium edition and why?
For me it was a nobrainer since I had a nice 20 euro discount and Iam a massive fan of machine games, they have yet to disappoint me and from the footage they've show lately it looks like an incredibly environmently interactive game which I just adore. There aren't games made like this these days you know. Everything is rushed and developers often neglet fun physics and interactive environments in games.

I took the plunge too. For me, like the OP, a £20 discount helped me decide, and I have fond memories of playing Indiana Jones and The Infernal Machine from way back in 1999. Also, the graphics and game-play look real nice.

so basically the same as me, however i did not play any of the previous indiana jones games, but I liked the movies, especially the last crusade, that one with Sean Connery in it is the best one imo

Same here, love the first three movies, especially the third one , the last crusade is one of the best old movies ever made.

Preordered Premium because I love movies, first AAA Indy game is a no-brainer to me. Footage so far looks great.

Only thing that is stopping me is the very high PC specs, the trailer graphics look good but not these kind of specs...

I have the hardware before any one shouts 'potato pc'

Agree, specs are ridiculous for visuals on screen.

I hear you, but remember that what you see in YouTube videos and the like is a far cry from what you'll experience first hand on your system - the game will look much sharper, at the very least.

Edit: I guess the specs are there for a good reason. The developer wouldn't want to limit the game's availability. So, I'm expecting that the visuals are worth the hike in requirements.

I would of but I have to work that day so no.

I did.
Got a good discount on it and also a huge fan of Indiy. Love all fhe movies except that Shia one.

Plus Ron Howard's involved.
Machine games made some of my favourite shooters so I'm curious to see what they do with this given that it's not a shooter.

And then visually it's going to be impressive. Really excited to see this wave of games recently that aren't letting themselves be held back by targeting weaker hardware.

pre-ordered, pre-downloaded and ready to refund (in case it sucks).

I have to work the week it releases, so I took the bullet and preordered the Deluxe Edition to play it earlier on my free weekend. 100 bucks hurts a little (not the biggest Indy fan here), but I can still get a refund, if I do not like it.

from what I discovered, the game is going to have path tracing enabled by default, just like aw2 had for example, thats why the recommended specs are so absurd.
