Why use Harrison Ford's likeness?
If you're not going to use his voice, don't use his likeness.

Sounds fine to me.

Because they would have to charge $110 per game if they had to pay for Harrison Ford to do the lines.

But they used his likeness... and somehow I don't think HF gave consent... or if he did, then he should be getting some royalties for that.

Personally... I don't care what actor portrays Indi (hell, there will probably be a reboot soon anyway), but if you're gonna use HF then you need his voice.

For that old fart? His retirement house must be charging helluva lot for the planes he crashes.

Considering how incredibly odd Harrison's real-life old man voice sounded coming out of young CGI Indy in his last movie, I think going with another voice actor is the right call.

Because he's 82 years old and doesn't care that much. Plus at the time this game was made he would've been busy with Dial of Destiny, 1923, Shrinking and that new Captain America film.

They probably used AI help for the voice similarity here.

It was done by a voice actor who barely even sounds similar to HF (occasionally), when they SHOULD have used AI to get a better result.

Exactly. AI wouldn't work since while Harrison Ford always kinda sounds dead inside and tired, AI is just too soulless. Plus Harrison is a busy man so yeah.

If they got Anthony Ingruber to do indy that would be great as he's played younger versions of Harrison Ford's characters before.

oh they got troy baker...he'll probably do his Joel from TLOU voice. bleh.

Nah watch the trailers he does a pretty good job. You gotta remember that Troy Baker is a man of 100+ Voices. If he can copy Mark Hamill's Joker than he can do anything

Obviously because Harrison is Indiana and he's too old to do it, his voice was distracting and off in young Indy prologue of Dial of Destiny.

and because the man is real busy too. Between 2019 to 2025 he has been in 5 Movies and 2 TV Shows and those tend to take away your focus on things.
