Is it actually worth to pre order??
I grew up with the old classic indiana Jones movies and ofc the lego games which was all fun but now i am in huge dilemma because i am scared of throwing my money at Bethesda games... if you do recommend why is that?

If you are a fan of the franchise, probably. I have no doubt it's gonna be the best Indiana Jones game ever made by far.

If you're fans of the old classic Indiana Jones movies, I guess no harm done to preorder the game. Personally, I need to see more in-depth gameplay video. :olivetownchick:

If you pre-order anything you're part of the problem. Nothing personal against You specifically, I'm just vehemently against this practice, cos publishers treat us like absolute garbage. Nothing that costs €69.99 goes on my wishlist, so off it goes and that joke of a Premium Edition, is basically Bethesda/Microsoft giving you the finger. If you pay an extra €30 to play it 3 days earlier and that's "up to" 3 days with possible outages, a single story dlc of unknown length, scope or quality, a pdf artbook and a single digital outfit then you deserve every buggy AAA launch and unfulfilled season pass promises coming your way.

This is Indiana Jones for the modern audience, so if you grew up with it, then its not certain you will like it, but you might ofc.

My advice is to wait for reviews after release (not before) and then see how players react to it. Then if its good, you can buy it or wait for a sale and buy it.

Don't do it, friendly advice

It used to be that pre-ordering gave you some special extra niceties. Unique addons, limited edition skins or whatever. Pre-ordering just to be able to play a game 3 days before anyone else is kind of pointless. So no :-)
Oh you know! Aug 22, 2024 @ 5:27am
In my view its not worth it to pre-order this early, and especially not the Premium edition. Better to wait for more actual gameplay. Since its a singleplayer first person game, whatever cosmetics / outfit they've bundled won't be visible 90% of the time you're playing.

The person just wanna know if it's worth it and you decide to start your answer with "If you pre-order anything you're part of the problem." I suggest you learn politeness and respect next time you choose to "help/guide" someone.

And I said "Nothing personal against You specifically." So no malice intended. Thank you for the reminder though.

Yea, I feel like everyone made a really good point ♥️ it doesn't hurt to wait until release day and for a honest gameplay video to drop:lunar2020ratinablanket:

No, there is never a reason to pre order this early. Stocks are not limited, it's not first come first served, there could be delays. Keep your money for now and if you must pre order do it nearer the time when we have a better idea of it's quality and release date.

Go look at user reviews of Fallout 76, Redfall, and Starfield. See if any were worth purchasing at launch. Highly likely they're selling a WIP and not bothering to say so. Just another corpo cash grab until user reviews say otherwise.

I grew up with the indiana jones series and I've been waiting for this game since I first heard about it, and I was going to buy it when they opened the pre-order, but I found out that sweet baby inc was involved in the game, and frankly, I'm not even sure if I want to buy or play it anymore.

Imagine pre-ordering. Ever. :steamfacepalm:
