No Ultrawide no buy

It's frankly absurd this even has to be a question in this day and age, but for a Indiana Jones game especially, given the LONG history of all of the films being 2.39:1, even the bad ones, it'd be a absolute crime to have to work around the game being hard-coded to 16:9 to get a more 'faithful' viewing experience.
Having a quick gander at MachineGame's other releases by way of PCGamingWiki, as I've not played any of their previous releases, it seems consistent that they don't f### up the ultrawide support, so I'm hopeful this post is redundant.

Hmm well I've seen ultrawide mods/fixes for the latest idTech engine-based games, including Doom 2016. So while there may not be any sort of official support, there'll at least be an alternative.

The engine since id Tech 5 has always supported 21:9 reasonably well. No reason to think this wont. But I agree, its annoying having to ask just because its so flimsy on a certain engine everyone loves to use these days. I'm looking at you Unreal.

I'm playing on ultrawide 3440x1440p. Just select Cinematic from the options and it fills the entire ultrawide screen.

I actually selected “fullscreen” and made sure my aspect ratio was set to 21:9 and that worked better.

“Cinematic” still had small black bars on the left and right but each monitor may be different
