Lack of blood?
Hi,

From the launch trainer and other released media, there seems to be a lack of blood. Is this because Disney is involved?

I think it is kind of a tradition in the movie series… the only time you see actual blood is the one spilled on the back of the plane in Raiders. Of course, considering that the blood is the last thing you care about during melting scene in the end 😁

The films only occasionally used blood if I remember.
The only Indy game to have blood was Infernal machine and only on shots that killed an enemy.

Indiana Jones and Emperor's Tomb didn't have blood. Still a solid game, i hope this is too.

Lack of blood and probably will be a walk in the park, and puzzles will be for 6 year old

Or because they aren't going for an 18 rating.
Medal of Honor didn't have blood for most of the series and that was a shooter.

Should be a nice challenge for you and a lot of others on this forum then :D
Even before Disney Lucasfilms and LucasArts(now Lucasfilm Games) minimized blood and gore to select scenes to maintain a PG-13 rating, even in the older games the blood was minimized sprites. Given the company making the game and now under the Disney umbrella there will probably be the occasional sprites or splashing effects but there most likely will not be pools of blood, gore/gibs, or anything of the likes.

If I had to guess, given the engine and PC modding, people will probably figure out ways to enable or inject such things.

Thats not true, there are plenty of scenes of blood/people being shot throughout the series. in the raiders of the lost ark theres literally a scene where Indy blasts the driver of a truck in the head and blood shoots all over the window (when he thought he killed marrion.) theres blood in most of the fist fights, and most gunfights. theres more examples but theres no point listing them all out. my point is blood being absent is not a trademark of the series, and machine games likely made this choice because the ESRB of the game is T and they wanted to market to a wider audience.
There is some blood on Indy's hands after some fist fights.
It's because it's woke crap.
