They'll make us play as Gina
Hope I'm wrong, but I virtually guarantee it'll be half time as Indy and half time as her, Spiderman style. Got to shoehorn it in somehow.

Which is a shame because I've wanted an Indy game since emperor's tomb. I still remember the screen grabs from the cancelled Indy game in like 07'

Dude, that was a bit unnecessary...

I also do not want to play as anyone else other than Indy, he's the main protagonist and he's the one who made this franchise so successful, so i'm interested in him, not in a random lady who nobody asked for and who's included to the story just to act like a boss lady (like Helena Shaw). In Tomb Raider you can only get to play as Lara Croft (and it makes perfect sense), but it seems like we can't hold Indiana Jones to the same standards because, unfortunately, he was born as a white male, so we need to balance out all of that evilness with a female lead lol

I'll wait and see. There will be more info when the release is close. If they add nonsense like that, then I'm out.

Not really what I meant dude, personally I'm happy to play was women in certain games, but not in games where they're inserted to undermine an established character for "muh inclusion"

Alien isolation is a good example, since it's from an existing IP, playing in first person as an existing female character.

Pretty much what I was getting at. It's funny, because the women in the first 3 films (and the 4th since Karen Allen returned) were all awesome in their own way.

Marion was a badass rough and tumble type chick

Willie was a really Barbie Girl type who developed a lot as the film went on and arguably has the most growth of the three

And Elsa is a scheming manipulative ♥♥♥♥♥ and does an awesome job of it.

It's all about execution. People think it's some sort of "hate" when it's really not.

I really doubt that will be the case, seems that Indy will be the only playable character. And if turns out she is playable, it will be only for fractions of gameplay most likely, something like Catwoman on Arkham City, which was a cool segment btw.

Does seem like it will be like the uncharted games where you only play as Nathan Drake because whipping seems to be a part of the combat.

I hope not.

I absolutely hated the Mary Jane sections in Spider-Man 2018 game.(Worst section among all the superhero games I've ever played)

The first Spider-Man is nothing, play the 2nd game and you will see what bad really is. MJ defeats trained soldiers and symbiotes with ease:lunar2019laughingpig:.

They do mention 'modern audience' so don't be too surprised if it happens.
The more disappointing part was Ford not voicing Indy.

Modern audience, as in that little crowd of feminists and soyboys who don't even play video games but love to review them when the games are not woke enough.

Ford never voiced Indy in Indiana Jones games.

I`ll be holding my Opinion till more Info comes around. There is one person in the Interviews that makes me fear for too much modern audience BS in this video. Guess which one!

But there is a lot of good stuff in the Trailer and what they are saying, so I will be optimistic
till they prove me otherwise. Also, the Voice Actor doing Indy`s voice is really very good
and they also hit the same kind of snark. The line at 4:35 really brought a Smile to my Face.

Cautiously optimistic I suppose. But disney owns the IP, so keeping my expectations pretty low for now.
If xbox is publishing this, then I'm surprised they didn't throw some money at Ford to voice the character. I know he's in his 70s(or 80s now?), but would've been cool to have him do the voice work for at least one of the Indy games made.

Exactly, I wouldn't mind seeing another female supporting character, but I don't want her to be there just to patronize and belittle the main protagonist every chance she gets.
