I also do not want to play as anyone else other than Indy, he's the main protagonist and he's the one who made this franchise so successful, so i'm interested in him, not in a random lady who nobody asked for and who's included to the story just to act like a boss lady (like Helena Shaw). In Tomb Raider you can only get to play as Lara Croft (and it makes perfect sense), but it seems like we can't hold Indiana Jones to the same standards because, unfortunately, he was born as a white male, so we need to balance out all of that evilness with a female lead lol
Alien isolation is a good example, since it's from an existing IP, playing in first person as an existing female character.

Pretty much what I was getting at. It's funny, because the women in the first 3 films (and the 4th since Karen Allen returned) were all awesome in their own way.
Marion was a badass rough and tumble type chick
Willie was a really Barbie Girl type who developed a lot as the film went on and arguably has the most growth of the three
And Elsa is a scheming manipulative ♥♥♥♥♥ and does an awesome job of it.
It's all about execution. People think it's some sort of "hate" when it's really not.
I absolutely hated the Mary Jane sections in Spider-Man 2018 game.(Worst section among all the superhero games I've ever played)
The more disappointing part was Ford not voicing Indy.
I`ll be holding my Opinion till more Info comes around. There is one person in the Interviews that makes me fear for too much modern audience BS in this video. Guess which one!
But there is a lot of good stuff in the Trailer and what they are saying, so I will be optimistic
till they prove me otherwise. Also, the Voice Actor doing Indy`s voice is really very good
and they also hit the same kind of snark. The line at 4:35 really brought a Smile to my Face.

Cautiously optimistic I suppose. But disney owns the IP, so keeping my expectations pretty low for now.
If xbox is publishing this, then I'm surprised they didn't throw some money at Ford to voice the character. I know he's in his 70s(or 80s now?), but would've been cool to have him do the voice work for at least one of the Indy games made.
