Why first person???

I don't understand why some fans think that switching from 1st person to 3rd person is as easy as flipping a switch in a game that designed for the 1st person from the beginning.

Yes I played them but all Indiana Jones Games from 2000th are in third person like Tomb Raider.

Then why make another one of the third-person ones instead of trying a first-person one for a change? You can't deny that the approach they're taking for this game isn't unique.

It's an id Engine, not Gamebryo 3 or whatever they use in Starfield. How many 3rd person mods for DOOM or Wolfenstein have you seen and how well do they work?

Yes and we will not feel like we are in Indys shoes when playing in First Person View all we can see is a pair of hands it might aswell be BJ or myself i am playing as and not Indy.

By looking down and seeing shoes? Pretty sure they know they're supposed to be playing indy because of the cutscenes. Which is more immersive than shoes. Guess what else is more immersive than shoes? A 3rd person character model.

It's fine as it is. The game doesn't need to change to fit your personal preference. You can simply go play something else instead. Not every game is meant for everyone.

Tomb Raider, Mad Max, Uncharted, Batman, Spiderman... every single one of them are great without having first person view. Why change something that is already good for this type of games?
