No Replay Value.
Are you really going to play the single player multiple times ?? Undead nightmare sure but standard rdr1 single player ?? I honestly think this game has no replay value due to multiplayer not being added. I can’t imagine someone beating the single player and then beating undead nightmare single player and saying hell yeah ima play em again ! Multiplayer was incredibly fun / addicting and was what made a lot of players keep playing it for years, free for all Mexican standoffs, tdm, money bags , free roam , undead nightmare horde mode. But with all those gone 100% the amount of people who will drop this game after there done with both campagins will be massive 😂

Not doing that at all, simply saying there are others who got most of there joy from multiplayer so I believe this release won’t be as great
"I can’t imagine someone beating the single player and then beating undead nightmare single player and saying hell yeah ima play em again !"

No, you're not simply saying that.
Loads of people will replay the stories again because they're good.
I remember hardly playing online in this game, I only played singleplayer. Not sure why you even made this thread?
Replaying good games yep I do that too and rdr1 is great and I replayed it. I made this thread for the fact that rockstar removed a large chunk of amazing content off of red dead 1 /UN
Aka the multiplayer and added a standard 2024 price tag making me feel people will enjoy the release at first but realise it’s abit much for just the single player experience. You haven’t played multiplayer which sucks because i wish u could have experience it with this release giving people the chance to see how great it was minus the hacking ofc :VSnake: but no. rdr1 single player isn’t bad at all and I know people will get there joy from it and remember the fun they had years ago.but there will always be others like myself that played a lot of multiplayer and won’t get to enjoy it again.(aside from the single player ofc I loved it)

This is a matter of preference and opinion, I love this game, love the gameplay loop, the main story, the Undead Nightmare expansion; so I don't care about replaying it multiple times.

Now the pc version will include a plethora of mods, trainers, scripthook, and a heck of a lot of things I can't even imagine as of today.

You don't need an specific mode a lot of the times to make a game replayable, there are some games out there that are so good you can replay them endlessly: Doom 1993, Dishonored, the Arkham games, etc.

I'm absolutely going to play this atleast 3 times, good bad and ugly.
Your comment about no replay value because there is no multiplayer doesn't make any sense at all.

i made this knowing people only played the singleplayer or only just like the singleplayer so will happily keep playing im not saying EVERY SINGLE PERSON will not want to replay but a decent chunk might because of the feature of multiplayer being removed. Thats my opinion.
Well, that depends on what people mean by replay value, a term that has evolved over time from, "Hey, I feel like firing up a game of Pac-Man" and doing so, all the way to, "Does this game have multiple endings and a deep branching narrative where my choices have profound impacts on the outcomes?"

There are some variations to the ending depending on your Honor. That said, the replay value in some games isn't literally replaying them, but returning to them just having fun doing so. As in the much older version of "replay" value: just feeling like revisiting a game for a bit and playing a session of it.

It's a big open world Western game. You can get up to all sorts of shenanigans in it. Fleeing from the cops, starting shoot outs, lassoing and tying up NPCs (and placing them on train tracks) etc.

How many times do we "replay" a GTA game, truly? Once or twice if there are ending permutations? But a lot of people revisit them just to mess around in. I see this game in the same way.

Personally, my favorite pastime in RDR was always playing cards at the saloons against a group of AI opponents. Having a fully functional card game in a Western setting is pretty cool imo.

im going to play the f out this game. its the mods im most looking forward to.
OP if it's an open world sandbox game with unlimited replay value, mods and multiplayer is what you want might I suggest mount and blade 2 bannerlord

Idk man, my sister has easily clocked in 1000+ hours in RDR , never touched multiplayer. Same with RDR2.

Multiplayer just aint all that

You have to realize that you and everyone else in the world are not the same people. For example I have 1,600+ hours in RDR 2, the vast majority in single player. People are different.

RDR is proving very popular:

The original was released long time ago and ran like crap. So, it's totally valid to replay again to refresh the memory.
I could easily get 20 hours from single-player, probably even more. Multiplayer probably fun for just couple hours and only with friends who also buy it. So, nah.

MP, especially the Undead MP maps/modes is what made this game, i'll be passing...

>Are you really going to play the single player multiple times

Look how many hours I have in GTA IV. Times that by two back when it released on the Xbox 360. All of that is single player, replaying the game unmodded, vanilla, at least once a year for the past 16 years because I love it so much.

So, yes, I will definitely replay a single player game multiple times if I like it enough.
