Aka the multiplayer and added a standard 2024 price tag making me feel people will enjoy the release at first but realise it’s abit much for just the single player experience. You haven’t played multiplayer which sucks because i wish u could have experience it with this release giving people the chance to see how great it was minus the hacking ofc
Now the pc version will include a plethora of mods, trainers, scripthook, and a heck of a lot of things I can't even imagine as of today.
You don't need an specific mode a lot of the times to make a game replayable, there are some games out there that are so good you can replay them endlessly: Doom 1993, Dishonored, the Arkham games, etc.
Your comment about no replay value because there is no multiplayer doesn't make any sense at all.
Aka the multiplayer and added a standard 2024 price tag making me feel people will enjoy the release at first but realise it’s abit much for just the single player experience" and thus will remove some replay as i know the multiplayer was popular causing a certain amount of people to just not want to replay the story or even get the game thats why i made the thread.
i made this knowing people only played the singleplayer or only just like the singleplayer so will happily keep playing im not saying EVERY SINGLE PERSON will not want to replay but a decent chunk might because of the feature of multiplayer being removed. Thats my opinion.
There are some variations to the ending depending on your Honor. That said, the replay value in some games isn't literally replaying them, but returning to them just having fun doing so. As in the much older version of "replay" value: just feeling like revisiting a game for a bit and playing a session of it.
It's a big open world Western game. You can get up to all sorts of shenanigans in it. Fleeing from the cops, starting shoot outs, lassoing and tying up NPCs (and placing them on train tracks) etc.
How many times do we "replay" a GTA game, truly? Once or twice if there are ending permutations? But a lot of people revisit them just to mess around in. I see this game in the same way.
Personally, my favorite pastime in RDR was always playing cards at the saloons against a group of AI opponents. Having a fully functional card game in a Western setting is pretty cool imo.
Multiplayer just aint all that
You have to realize that you and everyone else in the world are not the same people. For example I have 1,600+ hours in RDR 2, the vast majority in single player. People are different.
RDR is proving very popular:

Red Dead Redemption PC already has thousands of players, near-perfect reviews

I could easily get 20 hours from single-player, probably even more. Multiplayer probably fun for just couple hours and only with friends who also buy it. So, nah.
Look how many hours I have in GTA IV. Times that by two back when it released on the Xbox 360. All of that is single player, replaying the game unmodded, vanilla, at least once a year for the past 16 years because I love it so much.
So, yes, I will definitely replay a single player game multiple times if I like it enough.
