I will have a good search through my codex.
I didn't want to do things backwards or not in order either or does that not matter?.
There's no "one right way" to play Subnautica, which is one of its greatest achievements.
Then go. Further. Deeper.
It's dead and always spawns ghost leviathans when you go there to nudge you back onto the playable area.
And the real "progress" on this game is done by going to deeper and deeper areas.
Entering large cave networks is basically how you get to the rest of the game and story.
There is way more stuff scattered around than you will ever need. And it is possible to complete the storyline without the deepest upgrades. I accidentally did it when I forgot to upgrade the Prawn.
I'm quite a tough lad I like to think, but this game brings me to almost screaming/full on sweats, it scares the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of me when I get deep and it becomes dark, those things what shock wave you and have big bulb like heads and big eyes scare the sh*t out of me. It's super hard to play through this game.
And you are -supposed- to be scared. Not "jump-scares" but things that you can see in the distance and all the way in. "Run you sucker" is the operative phrase, I think...
