Lime-green blood?
So unrealistic!

O wait...
The weird blood has been found in skinks that live in New Guinea, an island off of Australia, and its bright color is striking. "There's so much green pigment in the blood that it overshadows the brilliant crimson coloration of red blood cells," says Chris Austin, a biologist at Louisiana State University who has studied these lizards for decades. "The bones are green, the muscles are green, the tissues are green, the tongue and mucosal lining is green."

Yes, because the idea of being on an alien planet after having got there with a faster than light ship that was shot down by a giant thousand years old alien gun is sooo(ooooo(ooo)oooo) realistic.
:steamhappy::steammocking:.

Interesting read btw.

It's a clever choice. Inside the game it establishes you're on an alien world. Externally it allows you to claim a lower PG-rating for your product as there's "no gore".

Not that it's a new idea as proven by all those tampon commercials and their mysterious blue liquid. :steamhappy:
