Do Warpers stop attacking you when you cure yourself of Carar?
Because I swear those damn buggers are a lot more numerous now, and I'm sick of getting dragged out of my Prawn.

Well either way, you're gonna encounter some and they're gonna scream at you and teleport you out of your PRAWN while you're over lava.

As a wild guess i'd say it does increase their spawns when you get to stage 4 of carar. Not sure if you can get them to de-aggro yet. Ending not done.

Hmm will have to test this then when I get a chance. Unless someone else can?

I've only just got to the drf on my new playthrough so i won't be able to cure myself for a long time. I have noticed increased spawns tho.

They do indeed leave you alone after you cure yourself. They only aggro to infected creatures.

Time to cure myself.
Kalidor Aug 29, 2017 @ 8:54am
I would suspect so because the whole reason there chasing you is because you're infected

Ok cool. I was hoping it would, as they're so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ numerous now that it was becoming a pain in the a.

Yeah that's why I asked.

well i cured myself by spawning in the stuff ot hatch the eggs and then sticking my hand in the goop and ya the warpers dont do anything anymore i went right upto one and the most it did was warp away after that i saw fewer and fewer

Yes they stop attacking, although interestingly enough the cure doesn't seem to be the trigger to stop them doing so. I went through the containment facility section of the game before the last update and before the cure was instigated, so when I scanned myself the scanner still said 'infected'. However the warpers left me alone even so - they just stared at me coldly whenever I got close, but never attacked. So it seems that the trigger is that section of the story, not the cure directly...at least, that's what it was in my case.
