what direction do i head to get to the floating islands?

like from lifepod (number/home lifepod) which direction the aroura the aroras engine are facng or something like that. (trying to get the last three engine parts for the cyclops)

Sight the rear of the Aurora, with the ship just visble on your left, head striahgt out, the islands will pop in once your close. Get in/out of the pod with any new goddies you find, else one "Oh crap!" and you'll lose whatever your carrying.

Yeah I'm afraid so, deep water attracts Reapers quicker than gun free zones attract violent criminals, so watch yourself, and save that inventory prior to departure. maybe carry a bouy or two to mark any cool stuff for later retrieval.

Hang on - are you talking about the Floating Island (large island that floats on the surface SSW of your lifepod) or the Floating Islands (smaller islands floating underwater West of your lifepod) - because I've never seen Cyclops engine fragments at either of those locations. I've always found them at the base of the Mountain Island (North of your lifepod).

there is a boneshark infestation, an occasional reaper leviathan, the occasional biter swarm, a mesmer if your lucky
