With a little imagination you could set up a kitchen-like room that you only use for kitchen activities, using furniture you scanned on board the Aurora. Put down some counters, a table or two, some shelves for spices and dry goods, the Water Purifier, etc.
Guess I'll have to settle for that. Is just a bit weird, "cooking" fish in a replicator... the little beams construct the fish from scratch and poof, there it is! At least the water has to be properly processed using its proper station to be consumed. Surrounded by nature, in an ocean world, resorting to both my intelectual and physical capabilities, but my food is sort of Soylent-ish. Not to mention the capability to store and preserve food. Guy has technology to suspend animate living objects in stasis, and artificial gravity, yet does not have a way to store food effectively.
