This game is probably my favorite Ghostbusters game so far. I’m usually not a fan of Dead by Daylight genre but somehow, I’m completely “busted” by this game and I can’t stop playing! Illfonic made exceptional game and for the price, it's totally worth it. There is so much content. It has a not super long but enjoyable campaign to play with friends or with bots (a bit brainless sometimes tho), online and offline mode, can play as a ghostbuster or as a ghost, tons of collectables to unlock via side-quests and items customization for both your character and equipment. It has also Ray and Winston as cameo and a lot of references to the whole franchise!

Here are my biggest complains so far:

First, the iconic soundtrack is missing. Don’t get me wrong, the actual game music is good but Ghostbusters isn’t Ghostbusters without Ray Parker Jr’s theme or Elmer Bernstein. I understand that is probably a copyright issue but it’s a real bummer to not have these iconic songs in this game. I wish there was a possible mod for this.

Second, the Ecto-1 is just a display in the Firehouse. When I first start the game, I was hoping to see it in campaign cutscenes or at least at the start of each jobs but no. The Ecto-1 is a big part of the Ghostbusters, it’s a real shame that we can’t see it in action. We should at least be able to interact with it in order to hear the siren.

Next, the jobs level design isn’t that great and it is missing a lot of iconic locations such as the Sedgewick Hotel, New York Public Library, New York Pneumatic Railroad, etc. Again, probably a copyright issue but I wish there were more iconic locations to play on. I also wish the game was more slow-paced and more spooky like Phasmophobia where you need to find spritiual manifestations first and then catch the ghost. Currently, when you start a job, the ghost can immediately attack you right away. A separate mode could be a nice add.

Finally, you cannot replay the campaign. Like I said, the campaign isn’t that memorable but once it is done, it’s done. You can replay the cutscenes but cannot replay any of the missions. Also, you cannot create a new save.

In conclusion, if you like Ghostbusters and want to have a good time with your friends, then you'll like this game. I highly recommend it!
