Surely UE5 can make use of a shader cache??
I just got done playing AC:Shadows at 90+ fps and only the rare single stutter travelling. Nothing like this game. RTX4080/Ryzen 7-9800X3D/32GB RAM.
This game looks better than Oldblivion to be sure, but it doesn't look good enough to justify this performance.
Game looks beautiful.
That's the thing though- they should not need to.
No one should have to spend over 800+ USD or whatever currency in their country, in order to play a 20 year old game that got remastered. My friend, that's so absurd. You don't see many struggling to play Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3, ect. with their graphics card but this one now suddenly it's the consumers that need to just "need to buy a higher quality X" to play this poorly optimized game.
Nah, many are having severe issues with the game and I don't want people defending it saying "Just stop being poor". Aien't no way.
I'd just drop down to 1080p is that's the case. This game doesn't need 4k, and 60FPS is more important than resolutions above 1080p.
Oh oh clown spotted
Oh oh clown spotted
Make up for the "losses" of a game that had 330k concurrent players on steam + A LOT on Xbox, sure.

And?
Imagine spitting out just a bad take and then calling other people clowns
Strong CPU's do help lessen the jank but, it's still not a smooth experience.
I however am not experiencing anything but I suspect it is my 5950x and 128GB of ram that is eliminating stutters. A gamer should not need a video render rig to run a game smoothly. All i have is a measly 4070ti for light gaming on this and it runs like butter.
Rig was designed for energy efficiency since it runs over night with batch renders for clients in my area.
Sorry for all those experiencing what I have zero doubts is UE5s fault.
I hope you are using slightly more reasonable settings like High 2k DLSS balanced 144Hz with frame gen.
that explains my situation. Gotta love a cpu that can brute force things.
