But this is not about Steam and Valve doesn't "want it to be like this", unless In a reply that you never got to that personal letter that you never sent them, they confirmed this is what they want the Steam community to be like.

Anyway, a lot of those people writing here will soon have to spend their time working to repay their student loans they never bothered to, so it will be more quiet.

Ah, the social evolution. It is indeed a drastic change from the original Beth forums in 2010.

That place was filled with passionate players that were a beacon of TES society. Masters of the roleplay. Those members transformed the way I would play these games forever.

As the forum died out and eventually retired, we moved onto the new forums after Skyrim. That's when the evolution really began.

The forums are great - game issues like critical text bugs in the character creation are being discussed here. We need to bring this more to the attention of the developers who might fix it even.

The state of steam discussions is pretty bad. Before buying this game my friend wanted to know if it still had console commands so I joked "ask the racist steam discussions"

Seems people in the oblivion remastered forums are less racist and more whiny little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about body type options though.

I've been blocking people on the first offense of them being dumb/annoying/trying to rope me into a bad faith argument. It hasn't made the forums more useful, mostly because most of the first page of every forum is now topics from blocked users, but it is mildly less annoying.
