DLSS look horrendous from a distance for anyone else?
Everything like 10 meters or more away is sooo low res and gets so muddy when moving, is it like that for anyone else on 1440p or above?

unfortunately same thing, like grass, trees, anything is extremely muddy and gross when moving, its super distracting. And turning off dlss makes the game unplayable too.

Couple of things - you could use some DLSS sharpening and switch the DLSS version in Nvidia app to the latest

you have to set it at native, anything else is a smear fest. Has been like this for every new UE5 release.
Are you sure you need DLSS on? It's ideal to avoid having AI guess at what your game should look like.

I put my settings on medium and turned DLSS off and the fidelity is improved at least 100%. Every new game I have played with upscaling has been terrible. Turn that junk off and play it at lower settings xD

Works in every other game so should work here too, they really counted on DLSS and framegen to save the performance, cause without it you need to stay on medium at 1440p with no dlss to get over 100 fps, but with massive drops.l i9-13900k and 4080 super btw
Thats dlss in a nutshell

I'm playing at 1440p and use DLSS for every game that allows it, I hardly notice any difference outside of the characters hair 99% of the time, in which case if it's too different I change it to DLAA from DLSS Quality.
Blurriness comes from TAA/DLAA, you can't really get rid of it, and it's hardly ever due to DLSS. I can't speak for 1080p, but at 1440p or above, you need a magnifying glass to notice a difference between native and DLSS Quality.

And people wonder why I still game at 1080p. Slowly they are finding out.

Use dlss override to force the latest version with K preset

I did that and it actually seemed to work, and also for some reason made almost all aspects of the game look better, the AA was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but now it looks great, thanks.
