Is this beta version we are playing into?
but havent the standard allways been 1.0? like the game runs fine for me thats just my understanding of it.
Anyone can create any standard literally
A software I work on is v13.x and we are not on the 13th version of it. They just kept moving upward. We dont really know what oblivion is doing for their versioning
It was rushed out of the door to release before Skyblivion.
They most likely forgot to change the beta numbers to 1.0 upon release.
iknow iknow but look up all bethesda games and the full release of the games is 1.0
Itd be cool if this is in beta and there's a lot of performance fixes coming though lol
Using 1.0 for the initial release is quite common, but that is usually just for marketing purposes more than anything. People like seeing that “1.0” despite it being completely meaningless.
For example 7 Days To Die released their “1.0” version a few months back that is literally the exact same game that has been in alpha for the better part of a decade.
yea thats more where im getting at the 0.411 might be the full release but sub 1.0 has allways been early acces.
The EULA does mention prevetnion against online cheatin, witch may hint at multiplayer or just a lazy copy paste of anothere games EULA.
oh and i did some diggin and it look like virtous the company that co created the game has realesed games xcom enemy unknown on mobile with a 1.0 release an many othere re releases of games such as a horizon port for windows with a release with v1.0 and a first patch 1.1
Their is also some things in the console that is strange, wanted to make my carry weight higher cause in solo game i don't like having to go back and forth cause i carry too much weight.
(the command is now player.forceav encumbrance -10000) btw, if anyone wonder.
Thing is, their is a convenient little command helper ingame and some are "strange", like
p.EnableMultiplayerWorldOriginRebasing
Wich have a custom hint not linked to unreal "Enable world origin rebasing for multiplayer, meaning server and clients can have different world origin locations."
Is that a rest of the Unreal engine that i don't know, or an aborded (or suspended) coop mod option that is now discarded, i don't know, but with eula on top and anti cheat it seem strange.
