Game keeps switching to my other monitor when I open display settings.
For whatever reason, the game defaults back to my default number one monitor and automatically applies the setting change when I move to display settings despite me already selecting my preferred monitor and applying the new setting.

Also having this issue. Extremely annoying bug. Trying to switch to exclusive full screen causes a black window flash loop.

Same issue, were you able to find a fix?

Same
Somewhat off topic (I don't use two monitors), but there is something off with the video settings. For example, I have oblivion remastered locked to 72FPS in NVIDIA control panel, but when starting the game the frame-rate is always unlimited. It's only when I open the options menu once and the close it that the game locks to the correct frame-rate.

I am assuming these are related bugs, which is why I am posting this here.

My game was just switching monitors the moment I opened the game, in Graphic settings in game I switched to full screen (which caused my game to drop to 1 FPS literally) then across to windowed (only because it gave me personally the best FPS results) and it allowed me to choose which monitor I wanted the game on and have been able to play it on my main monitor with no issues since. Don't know if this helps any of you if switching on full screen is causing crash/flash loop.
Same issue, unreal this is happening. Typical Beth trash at work.

Havent found a permanent solution, but if you turn off your second monitor through windows settings before starting the game you can turn the second monitor back on after and all works as it should, at least for me.

Rightclick on windows desktop -> displaysettings -> scroll down to "multiple monitor options" -> change settings to only use your monitor you want the game to be on and keep changes -> start game -> backtrack and turn secondary monitor back on.

Works for me, hope it helps. (Menu names might be different since my pc is not running on english).
I got same problem! I thought it might be MOD problem?
thats a PITA when that happends while your 2nd monitor is actually turned off ..

Answer = Ultramon app running the background & press CTRL + Q .. switches the selected app / window from one screen to another in a heart beat ...

mine opens on left portrait monitor then switches to half my main monitor.

In UE5 usually you can add a flag to Steam starting arguments:

-PRIMARYMONITOR=1

if this don't work you can try:

-windowed -noborder

I don't have dual monitor so i can't test this myself to see if it works on OBR too.
