As much as this is not a points award post.

For those that don't undestand 1+1 = no the game is not a money grab, but this post is from a troll farming steam award points.

People have been clamoring for remasters for YEARS, Fallout 3 and NV too. I guess they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. No, it's not a money grab. If you played OG OB and were happy and have no desire for a remaster, simple, don't buy it. If you wanted to play OG OB but it was too dated, then great, you have the option of a more up-to-date version. If never played OG OB and didn't want to because it was dated, you now have another option. The consumer determines what they buy, not the developer. So, no, it's not a money grab, it provided numerous gamers, for numerous reasons, a way to (re)enjoy a classic RPG that they might not have otherwise touched. Judging from sales, and overall user happiness with the end product, you're insinuation is objectively incorrect.

Every remastered game is a money grab by nature. It's not a difficult concept people. Company short on funds for the next big hit? Re-release something old with a fresh coat of paint. Simple and effective.

To be fair, Bethesda put a ton of work into Fallout 76 after it came out, which you wouldn't expect them to do for a "money grab". I think that was a legit game ... it was just bad (at least at launch, I hear it's alright now, but I haven't been back).

Even ESO was a bloody cashgrab. $20 IRL cash to change your hairstyle when almost every other MMO at the time let you do it for 2 gold IN-GAME currency.
yes (and thats a good thing)
