loading time
anyone has suggestions on how i can reduce the loading time of each area? it often takes up to 5 minutes for an area to load and its frustrating

Not normal behaviour, it should take no more than 2-5 seconds max.

Sounds like you are short on V-Ram and Ram, what's your system specs?

no, i have an ssd. as for my ram its 32 and vram is 4 (nvidia gefore gtx 1050ti)

There's your answer. GPU is not adequate, even on Low settings. 1070ti is minimum.

Playing with a 1050 is... impressive. I thought I'd be the craziest playing with a 1080.

If it is taking 5 minutes to load an area, you installed the game on a HDD or an external SATA SSD on an old USB maybe, but even that should be way faster than 5 minutes.

use the oblivion bsa unpacker and unpack the bsa's from the remaster. same method of reducing load times/hitches in the original as it is the new one.

all this does is increase the file size because they're no longer going to be compressed.

you can literally drag and drop the original games bsa files into the remaster and boot it up and play.

edit: another reason loading can take a long time is because garbage collection is not set up logically with how it runs in the background.
