The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

View Stats:
RTX 2060 (6GB) 45-90 fps
Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB 3000MHz G.Skill memory DDR4
Motherboard: MSI B450
RTX 2060 (6GB)
SSD SATA
Windows 10
Native 1080p
Game set to 720p
everything on Low except for View Distance medium
DLSS Balanced
Lumen Begone mod
60Hz V-sync on

70-90 fps with 5.4GB VRAM usage

Yes the game drops below 60 from time to time (45fps during large fights) and I do get slight fps drops in the open world but the game is very playable and I cannot ask more of my old PC. BTW low textures look good but signs and posters take a couple seconds to render. I do crash some but it tends to throw a crash message after I close the game.

I see many people having issues.. I'm thinking many of us are capping out VRAM and have unstable over clocks. I rarely crash while actually playing the game. GL~
low textures looks better than original skyrim at max ?

Crazy that the 2000 rtx series is already 6 years old.

70-90 fps with vsync on a 60hz monitor huh

k then.
It has been tested with the v-sync off.

I've also had a bad experience with Adaptive V-sync so if any of you are doing that and have issues then I would look to turn that off.

why on earth would you even think about adaptive v-sync on a 60hz monitor?

bro, turn vsync off completely and cap your frames. the amount of frames over 60 vs under 60 on your setup totally negates any possible usage scenario for vsync. You are just increasing input and frame delay.
Good job making it work without complaining your older GPU can't run 4K/120 and it's the dev's fault that 10 year old hardware struggles.

You might still in interiors where you are getting the 90 fps's but I'd just accept that for the smooth input and look at it as a reminder that you got this to work that well at all.

You could make the oblivion profile lock at 50 FPS and have more stable fps. Global is applying to all.

I think 58 or 59 is better though if not jumping too much to 45.
