Did they fix the map in interiors?
It's been a criticism I've had of the remake that when you open the map inside, it defaults to the world map. There have been some mods made that make it default to the interior map when inside, but as I've been playing today I noticed its defaulted to that on it's own when I was in a cave. I haven't installed any mods so I know it's not that. Was there a stealth patch or something?

Once on internal map just use tab key instead of map key. It remembers previous menu you were in which includes the map. Luckily it also remembers you were zoomed into internal map. If tab can do this it should be easy enough to make map key behave like this.

Dunno if it is a bug or they just ignored it in development.

I hope it was fixed, I'll have to jump on the game after work.

I could always get an interior map, I just had to use the scroll wheel on my mouse.

Just zoom (and on controller, zoom again when zoom gets closest on world map and stops).
There's been no updates or patches since release, so no, nothing has been fixed yet
Why do you think it's a big deal? it takes you literally 1 second to move your mouse wheel and zoom in to the local map

I don't think it's a big deal, I just noticed it and thought "huh, that's odd."

Ah, I didn't know that.

There's a mod on nexus that opens the map already zoomed if you are in a dungeon or city.
