As far as I can tell, this game isn't being sold individually. The only way to get it on Steam is by buying the special edition of the English version, which costs more because it includes the soundtrack and artbook as well. Basically the original Japanese version is a bonus for buying the English special edition, and you can't get it any other way.

Because the only way to get it is in the 'Steam Special Edition' of 99 Spirits.

It includes the English version, the Japanese Version, the artbook and the soundtrack.

The artbook and soundtrack are available as dlc, but the only way to get the Japanese version is in the Special Edition.

;_;

Obviously not translating it costs more money.

Other games have language selection, either ingame or via the game settings in Steam. Here you get to pay for the untranslated copy. Isn't that nice?

I can't comprehend why isn't this a free DLC or an option in English version? I am studying Japanese for 2 years now and would be interested in trying out the original but not for 20 euro :/

Dev,

Please include Tsukumogami in the 'Artbook & Soundtrack Pack" (make it a special edition upgrade).

Or make it available as a separate purchase. I have 99 Spirits and I don't want to buy it all over again for Tsukumogami, but I'd really like to have it as well.

Tsukumogami is now also included with the regular edition of 99 Spirits, so everyone who purchases the game receives both versions.
They are added as two separate items to your Steam Library - 99 Spirits and Tsukumogami.

I assume there's no way to show the original game in English? I'd want to get the achievements but unless I learn japanese, that can never happen :(
