How to delete Steam Cloud save files?
So yeah, I messing around the save files by using save editor, apologize. Not the imba items or rare skins, just testing, if you wonder. And here's my problem, I didn't save the file names correctly, name it like '001' and 'Save001'. So they won't work, worst part is I can't delete them.

Because even I delete them, they just appeared again once I start the game, so it must something to do with the Steam Cloud. It pretty annoying, after all, no one wants non-working files got save to the Steam Cloud.

I had Google about it, but all those methods just don't work with me. The main problem is in my Pre-Sequel userdata folder doesn't have the "remote" folder.

So is there anyone know how to solve this problem? My OS is Windows 7 64-bit, I guess that's a reason, too. Please help me if you know how, thanks.:balloonicorn:

You can deactivate Cloud Saving for the game, right click in your game library in Steam on Borderlands TPS, select options/properties. Go to "updates" -> Deselect the Cloud Save option.

yep, I had the same issue with BL2, I think the files will just sit there, even if you disable the steam cloud. I only had one file like that. you achievements will be linked to your in game, the cloud is just there to back up files, so you can log onto any PC and your saves will be there. but if you delete them in game, they will sync with the cloud.

Steam Cloud and Steam Achievements are not related in any way. I disable Steam Cloud whenever I can because it is more trouble then it is worth for me, but achievements work fine for me.

The easiest way to solve your problem is to disable Steam Cloud. Otherwise, you have to find a way to replace your undesireable Steam Cloud data with desireable data.

When you delete a file saved in the Steam Cloud, the cloud consider it erroned or lost and download it again
Try to rename it (format : save####), the ID of the save is still the same and the cloud should not get the erroned one back
It worked for me, I guess it will for you too

No, your shift actions are stored in the profile.bin file in your save folder. The BARank's are also stored in the profile.bin.

You might try this.
Disable Steam Cloud. Go to:
C:\Users\"Your Account"\Documents\my games\Borderlands The Pre-Sequel\WillowGame\SaveData\"And a large number who will indicate your profile number+
Here you will find your save files.
Typically Save0001.sav
Delete this .sav file.
Launch game, play for a sec, then choose "Save and quit", and the game will make a new sav file for you.
Later, when you enable Steam Cloud, you may be asked if you want to upload or download save file, choose upload.
Just a theory that worked for another game.

Hope it helps

Omg of course they come back with it enabled!!!!! Do you just ignore all of our posts?? One last time, you can disable cloud saving, you can't delete the saved cloud files on the steam server (also makes no sense to delete them, just ignore it)

You see, if you don't disable Steam Cloud, it will overrwite whatever save file you got.
Steam Cloud serve as a backup, and also serve you if you are playing the same game from several computer.
My suggestion was meant for the game would make a new save file, which would be uploaded to Steam Cloud.
Therefor you must disable Cloud temporary.
