So, I just got this perk

Aaaand I think it insanely needs tweaking

Why ?

Well...because using this perks aka using two guns is basically useless when you use Jakobs or Dahl guns

Simply, what the perk gives you in case of auto pistols is a doubled magazine size and pretty much doubled rate of fire

When holding down the button Nisha starts to shoot with one gun and after a while second gun kicks in. That basically doubles the rate of fire - when the first gun goes to "ready" state, the second shoots. And also you get the 2x bigger mag

BUT - using this skill with Jakobs or Dahl gives you only doubled mag which makes it kinda...crappy. As we all know, Jakobs guns are "fire as fast as you can put the trigger"
As for the Dahl guns - pretty much the same, one click - one shoot, but you have a shoot cooldown here

Anyway, using either Jakobs or Dahl with OFEoA doesnt increase the fire rate at all. Its because this "one click - one shoot" mechanism. Nisha just shoots randomly right or left gun but you are still tied to the fire rate - you simply cant shoot faster. You can click as fast as you can but the fire rate will be the same as using only one gun.

So basically the skill gives you only bigger mag and that makes it kinda useless for Jakobs or Dahl builds. Especially for Jakobs builds cus as we can see the mid tree plays nice with Jakobs pistols

I was insanely disappointed when I picked up the perk and I saw that it doesnt play any well with Jakobs while it doubles the RoF of any other guns (except Dahl ofc)

TL:DR - Gearbox should do smth and change the fire mode on Jakobs and Dahl to automatic when using One For Each of Ya perk

I use it with a moongrind Hyperion in single player. I won't use it in MP, as for some reason (possibly de-sync), if I go into FFYL, the guns will no longer fire (even if I'm not using the pistols and thereby can't dual wield) and it sucks being that guy that has to beg for help when there are almost dead enemies nearby that you can't shoot.

I use it with two Jackobs Maggie's when hip firing the guns alternate shot pretty much. two maggie's are a beast. Can take out any boss.

Anyway, as this perk is crappy in combo with Jakobs and Dahl guns, they should either make the Jakobs and Dahl into auto mode so they will benefit from the perk as the rest of the brands do, or they should make the Jakobs and Dahl guns fire BOTH at once so they wont benefit in fire rate but they will have 2x dmg output. That will make the perk acutally worth picking up for Jakobs'n'Dahl

I love that skill with two Jacobs pistols. The reloads rarely line up, so you can be reloading one while still firing the other. I find it to be extremely effective.

I understand what your saying, but I dissagree with you 100%. So I have to keep hitting the trigger instead of holding it down. Big deal. The Jakobs Maggie's on Nisha are a Boss Killer. Plain and simple.

My Maliwan pistol benefits a lot more from this perk than my Jakobs pistol. But my Jakobs pistol benefits more from the tree than Maliwan pistol

I understand what you're saying, but I disagree. I find the skill very useful with a Jacobs gun. I'm not even using a legendary. It's just a good skill. If you don't like the way it works with Jabobs, use a different brand of gun. The semi-auto fire mode is what offsets the high damage they do.

Your problem is that you just want to hold the trigger down and fire continuous. So that doesnt work with jakobs pistols so what. jakobs fire just as fast as you can hit the trigger. I don't need to hold it down continuously. Ive used it with other auto fire pistol brands, I still prefer Jakobs.

Just because you don't doesnt mean the perk is broken.

OK, the point he is trying to make that you aren't understanding, is that the Center tree and the mods that go with it are Jakobs heavy, yet the final skill nerfs the Jakobs guns which makes it strange. Pretty sure I know why they did it (she is way OP already), but from a tree standpoint is contradictory. I do like the suggestion that they fire at the same time when using the skill.

My deal that whats the point in using this perk ? If you use it with Jakobs guns you dont get anything except the doubled mag. If you use it with other brand you get the doubled fire rate that makes some guns a monster-like but in the same time other brand dont benefit from the Fan The Hammer tree

EDIT: Psychodad gets it. Why one should invest in this perk that is located in "Jakobs buffs" tree when it gives only half the boost to Jakobs guns and full boost to other brands ? (except Dahl)
