TVHM To The Moon Mission
Hi!

Anyone able to complete this poorly designed/balanced mission? They destroy the objective far too fast, the HP pool of the objective is the same as it was in Normal mode which I think its totes unfair!!!

Anyone completed this?

I probably just need to find a high powered sniper, I rarely use them so I dont have one.

Thanks!

+1, beacon getting oneshoted everytime, impossible to comply for now.

I hate that mission, so much. Sometimes, I can't even see the enemies before they destroy it.

Well it's good to know I don't just suck. :D

This was a mission I just gave up and cheated to get past, set up like +100000% grenade damage and infinite grenades with Cheat Engine, and just spammed homing grenades.

I am for the idea that if a path is not open, I will make it open.

I'm not even in TVHM yet and the quest was suddenly failed some time AFTER I already completed it :T

I thought this quest was simple in Normal mode. Maybe I blew everything apart so quickly

TVHM:

Me: Maybe they increase the hp of the quest things too
-Dahl Soldier walks out, misses me, and two shots the beacon-
Me: are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ serious?

So yeah, I don't think it's even possible on solo, barely passable on 4 man if you got the right communication.

I did it on TVHM, try body-blocking as Athena with Phalanxs' capstone, wipes em pretty quickly,

Sure, but what about other classes? Like Nisha?

I managed to do it once, only to log out without turning the mission in yet, and come back the next day to find it had failed. :/

It's really, really tough. I tend to get it really close, only to have it shot off at the last moment by someone who's on the roof and hard to hit. Extremely annoying.

And I think you need to "git" the stick out of your ass.

The salt tastes so gud, seriously now, the mission was a piece of a cake with wilhelm.

I'm just happy i picked wilhelm and used my drones on them, but I still lost if an enemy sharpshooter did a quick double tap. It took me 5 infuriating tries and all I can say is this:

1. clear the room of any enemies before you start the objective
2. stand RIGHT IN FRONT OF the door they spawn and shoot with a shotgun
3. For the ones that spawn on the roof, back up, try to get their attention, and use your abilities as liberally as possible.

The point of this is to be a big bullet sponge but never be in front of the objective.

But in all seriousness: 2 hits from a sharpshooter...come on... you'd think they'd scale up the beacon;s hp a lil better, you know? >_<

I get the feeling the toughness of this quest depends on character. If you are Wilhelm and can control aggro with bots then it would be easier. But with classes that can't do that and enemies taking far too many sniper rounds to drop them quickly it becomes a hassle.

It's broken, the guidance system just gets one-shot. Fail balance fails. I'm strong enough to wipe every enemy in 1-2 seconds. But only one shot needs to get past :meatytears:

From the sounds of it, it's a pretty messed up tvhm mission. What are the chances that it will get patched ??
