I think i've finally found a way to cheese Shadowtrap without dying.

The boss is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, everyone seems to agree. That said, i managed to find a huge cheese strat that allowed me to kill him without dying once. Unfortunately, my only copy of the game with my xbox one version of handsome collection that has this DLC so i have been unable to try this on the PC version.

I DVR'd what i did and uploaded a summary to youtube, linked below. I would appreciate if someone could try this on the PC version (and across all difficulty levels) and see if it works.

The boss is by no means unfair. 1st of all he uses a laser, you, the type of weapon u can almost negate using a P.Bulwark. 2nd of all , although hes dmg hes based on the DOT he places when the laser DOES it, its almost impossible to not get at least 2-3 second winds, provided ur not shotting everything around the guy and murdering the glitches.
I mean, i was able to solo the guy at Max lvl modifier with both claptrap and aurelia, and although claptrap is flat-out broken, aurelia dies quites easily.

OH WAIT, nvm, ur talking about EOS and Eclipse? Lel, the bosses are soo easy . Get a mediocre shiled and glitched laser splitter and ur done. 5-10 mins on both phases.

On normal mode and tvhm this boss was only boss which was decent, not too easy, but still easy. On uvhm EOS spams rockets like crazy and i am unable to do anything, one step out of this shield, i can't even touch ground, many times kills me in air before i even can land.

I had zero issue fighting him for the first time on UVHM.
The massive health pool was a little unexpected but surviving was no issue.
For reference, I was playing Claptrap solo.

I checked today and you are right, Eclipse is waaaaay easier solo but if at least one person will join and he instantly starts infinite spam with rockets which kills entire team instantly.

I find it not difficult but yeah I did have that happen with a team of 3 once.
As any of us jumped down his rockets were insta killing us. Still not sure why.

I personally wait for EOS to start using the Eye Laser, then I keep shooting the crit spot with Skullmasher. I'm guaranteed to go into FFYL during the process but it's easy to get out.

As for Eclipse, I just keep on dying and respawning until I finally kill him. I don't bother trying to strategize.

Claptrap + maniacal laughter + glitch shock/acid laser spliter = win. Maybe a funzerker trigger to overkill It.

I was able to utilize the generators as cover although not enough of it to block lasers and barrage of missiles. I also realised with NIsha using a purple shotgun or or Jakobs shotgun and having the right build made it simple to defeat EOS. Shadowtrap was no problem as Nisha but EOS was problematic and was able to defeat it the very first time after 10 attempts. Relied too much on a Dbl Pen. .88 Fragnum I crafted sometime earlier back then before Clappy DLC release wk and all that time had a superior weapon to rid of EOS and the Fragnum was not it, was a Scav shotgun. lvl 45 shotgun against lvl 50 EOS.
