Should I buy the game with season pass?
I've been a little hesitant to get this game. I see mixed reviews, but as someone who played 250+ hours of BL2 back on the 360 (and loved it), I feel I ought to give it a go. Do the DLCs included in the season pass elevate this game significantly? It's a $6 dollar difference during this sale to pick the game up with a season pass. Does that sound reasonable? $21 for the full package seems very enticing.

If you're a BL fan, it's definitly more borderlands, here's what's included in the season pass.

Dopleganger Pack: This pack give you Timothy, Jack's doppleganger as a playable class. His actiom skill summons 2 digi-jacks to fight by your side. Hands down my favorite character.

Holodome Pack: This pack contains an arena with 5 rounds of Eridian enemies. There's some new gear and skins/heads. It also allows you to gain an extra 10 levels.

Baroness Pack: This pack gives you Hammerlock's sister as a playable class. Her action skill summons a shard of ice that attacks enemies.

Claptastic Voyage: CV is a full fledged expansion. It contains new enemies, new gear, a new weapon type and a wonderful story. It also encludes a custom arena where you can change difficulty/settings. It will allow your character to gain an extra 10 levels as well.

It is outright ridiculous, seeing the normal price for the Season Pass and what's in it.

Sale price... eh, maybe.

Must be because I do have all (Relevant) DLC for BL2 - Compared to that, this is a cash scam.

Yes I am a fan of Borderlands, but they really didn't raise the bar with TPS + DLC.

On sale, buy the bundle with the pre sequel and season pass, because claptastic voyage is great and Jack is pretty gud

Doesn't even come close to the value of the BL2 season pass.
At full price, I would say no, but it's kinda necessary to get the full enjoyment out of the game considering you're locked out of 20 levels without it.

I'd say wait for a sale.

Other then the Claptastic Voyage, I saw no reason to get any othe the DLC. I was only interested in the extra areas and story. I tend to play through one time, with one character.

If you just want that, then get th Claptastic Voyage for $5.

If you want access to higher levels and other characters to play, then get the season pass.

The "pre-sequel" is more the casual type of borderlands. Not so many areas, lame endboss, the classes are not so appealing as in borderlands 2 but hey! Borderlands 2 is hard to top.

But i recommend you to buy it. Its fun and the moon setting is really done good. As someone said before me, the dlcs are not really worth it. The arena is looking awesome. Thats really amazing. The claptastic voyage is very funny too but the characters werent so appealing to me.

Claptastic Voyage is one of the most fun DLC's I've ever played in all of borderlands. The other 3 in the season pass aren't great but when a good sale comes around it doesn't hurt to get them.

I think it's worth it. Don't expect it to be Borderlands 2 2.

More casual but not in difficulty. Normal is easy BUT true vault hunter can be so hard >.>

Definitly in difficulty. They took the health regeneration out of UVHM. They also only give the huge bonuses to badasses now as well, making UVHM alot less difficult in TPS

I didn't play ultimate in PS but in true mode now badasses are so badass that even 7lvl lower than you can kill you. Bosses in many cases are almost impossible to kill when they have that same lvl as you. So I'm too scared to even think what is in ultimate in PS

We've had two different experiences my friend.
