4K resolution not working
Now when I ran the game for the first time, I directly went to the settings to change it to 3840x2160, sadly it doesn't select it and it automatically goes to 2560x1440.

I tried reinstalling the game and resetting steam/my PC. Already wrote to the dev's along with a screenshot. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Same here. Can't get it up to 4K. Like you, it only goes up to 1440p, even if I click on the 2160p res numberous of times lol.

Seems like this issue has something to do with your DPI settings. Try the solution from this thread:

I also recall something on separate Nvidia DPI settings, though I can't find that thread at the moment. If the solution from the thread i linked doesn't work, maybe try looking into that.

I have the same problem and I have tried to change the settings in the DPI as the tread says! but I have played Dark Souls 3 in 4k and can change the resolution with no problems. nothing seems to work for me, i remember playing this before i had 4k and even then was i blown away over these graphics!! Just a bit anoyed over it, especially when websites and such shows they run it on 4k :/

Just got Ori recently and a 4K monitor on Win 10. The DPI solution did work for me. Under Ori's Compatibility tab,
select: "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:"
Then select: "Application".

I went into Ori and was able to select the 4k resolution setting. Hope that helps.

Consult this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/261570/discussions/0/620712999983237684/?ctp=2
I think it is HighDPI setting in Windows. Windows is very "smart" these days and when it sees you have way too small pixels on your monitor - it prevents you from setting native resolution.

compatibility tab? what are you talking about? i launch it from steam. or the shortcut that steam puts on the desktop which is not a standard windows shortcut directly to an executable that would include such a tab.

again, what are you talking about?

You have to right click the game in your Steam library, and click Browse Local Files. Then find the executable and right click that, and I forget the rest. But you have to go through your hard drive like that to find it.
