Game’s engine has too many problems to support some nice puzzles.

Although there is a plot about an experiment and you can learn more about it by locating notes, it isn't really important. What matters is that you are simply one of many who have been "invited" to solve the many puzzles.

The game takes set in a museum with many painting, pieces of art, and many doors. Each door is related to a puzzle that can involve a number sequence, a word, or sometimes an item. The solution is generally nearby. There are no tips; all you get is a riddle on the wall. The reward for opening a door is often merely another door and even more riddles.

Unfortunately, the game's engine has issues. One of the first puzzles involves switches. However, it appears you can never solve it because switches disappear when you press the first one.

Then there are some wonky physics and clipping issues that might push an important item through a wall. In one puzzle you need to place a box into a scanner. As I tried several boxes and finally opened the door, I saw that some boxed clipped right through the wall into the next room.

The main issue, however, is saving. You can save at any moment, but the loading function is presently broken. If you want to continue at a later point, you will be locked in an infinite loading screen. Because there is no auto-save, you can lose all of your effort and erase all progress by accidentally exiting to the desktop.
