Questions about the launch price

Will the standard edition get a discount on the 20th, like most games on steam. Or will It be the same as now?

Launch discounts are usually already active in preorders so the answer is 99.99% no.

It won't, steam policy.
No discounts or sales are allowed for any new game that releases less than a month.

Tell that to all the games that release nowadays with a ~10% orso sale in the first week or two. A few games did it to pull in audiences and now so many releases do it.

Exactly, this was the reason I asked. Was hoping MS2 also does it, but im just gonna get the advanced access version now I suppose. Thanks yall

That's different.
You can have discount on new release games, but once you've set the price with no discount, like Mortal Shell II, there is no discount or sales be allowed for at least one month, as I said Steam policy, understood?

It's definitely worth it imo, never liked the 1st a lot (don't even have it in library anymore afterall) but this one has been great fun so far.
