[Spoilers] Know Your Limits
What exactly does this achievement entail? Do you have to avoid the Tower for the whole game? Or just enter the "pearly gates" right after getting all sigils?

Nope... You know how Elohim sometimes tells you to leave the puzzle and try something else if you're spending too much time in a puzzle? Just follow his advice and go do another puzzle.

OH! Hahaha. Phew. Just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed an achievement.

I think the only special one that requires a full playthrough is Solipsist, and the others I see that look like game-enders could both be achieved by restoring from previous checkpoint and picking a different choice.

Is there any specific details on how to get it? I'm pretty sure I have done what was required to get this achievement MANY times, but I don't have it. I go through Star Gate A and do the nerve wrecker puzzle because I hate it and I'd spend countless minutes trying to get through and then Elohim says the line and I leave nerve wrecker and go solve another puzzle within Star Gate A and then I leave Star Gate A with Nerve Wrecker unfinished and go on to solve a puzzle in World B. No achievement. What am I doing wrong?

Well, according to the achievement guide, you did everything right.
"How to get it: When Elohim tells you something along the lines of leave this one for another time, you don't have to solve everything now, follow his advice and go solve another puzzle instead.
Note: This can be easily missed as Elohim will only tell you that so many times in one playthrough. (As far as I know)"

I didn't work for me either, I'm pretty sure that one is bugged.

Geez this 2014 thread has been necrod twice now but fine.

You need to run around in a puzzle (you cant stand still), maybe die once or twice, until Elohim says you might want to leave and solve it later. A little after this, if you leave the puzzle area you should get the achievment.

From what i've heard, you CAN NOT get this achievment from the star sigils/grey sigils puzzles.
But i've heard this IS obtainable from even one of the first few sigil puzzles in the game.
(On the contrary, the opposite of this achievment, Persistant, can be gotten from grey sigils)

It takes around 15-18 minutes for Elohim to talk, so be patient and keep moving.

I actually got this one simply for spending too much time trying to solve a puzzle. I didn't die or reset. It was one of the levels that only had connectors and a jammer, so it is possible to achieve without a death.

iirc, I got this during one of the recording puzzles because I was fast forwarding a bunch for the recording to make sure I had enough time standing on a button or some such, then doubled that idle time by fast forwarding again while the recording was playing.

I got this i one of world B puzzles. Just run around for some time (it took me around 10 mins) until elohim speaks, when he ends leave the level and you got it. :terminal:

I finally got it on the Sunshot level in B3. I put on a macro that just walked in random directions and let it go for about 5 minutes. At one point, I just started trying to solve the puzzle, but without touching the keyboard, just trying to use my random movement macro. So I don't know if it actually detects an amount of progress or just time spent. I think I ended up spending only about 10 minutes and Elohim gave me the message. I didn't even have to go to another puzzle, just as soon as walking through the purple door, it registered the achievement
