I have been waiting to end the game for many years since I hadn't a chance to play on a proper computer. I got a new PC and did one of the stages in C6 and ended up with solipsist achievement. Does that mean I manage to beat the game?

There's still plenty of game left after completing the solipsist achievement. You'll know when you've finished it.

It's worth adding that there are three different endings ranging from easy, but unsatisfying, to difficult.
