unknown issue upon loading save, Please help!
Hey there!
So recently i've started a new save and i'm really into this at the moment. I've really gotten a good city rolling here. But suddenly after restarting my game, I get this error

"Array index is out of range. [System.IndexOutOfRangeException]

Details:
No details"

I'll explain exactly what happens:
I load in totally fine, no errors (not even in the loading screen mod.) everything goes fine, I'm in the save and not having any issues at all.. Until I unpause the game. At that point it goes about 1 or 2 seconds, until I get that error shown above. And from there the game just freezes. I can still move around, i can look at buildings and everything. But i'm not able to build anything new. The simulation totally stops regardless of what I do. It's almost like the Animation of everything just stops. Even the "saving" notification at the top right is frozen.

I first assumed it was mods. But I disabled everything (including assets) and the exact same issue happened. same error. same everything. As far as I'm concerned. It's not the mods.

Here is my output file - I've heard it can help resolve my issue.
https://pastebin.com/wSwp5TNk

If there is anything else I can provide that'll help me get back into my save. and continue working on it - I'd be happy to provide if needs be.

Hi Mate,

Is your graphic driver up to date? As you have d3d11 errors?

If you disable a mod, the code will be still there and can cause havoc, you have to unsubscribe.

1) use this mod to get better error messages,
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2055465280

2) use this mod to show you which mod has issues (I would guess you have an old mod still active)
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2034713132

3) update your graphic driver

4) make a pagefile

The above post above yours didn't cure your problem?

It didn't at first, after unsubscribing 81 tiles and subscribe again the problems are gone, thank you very much for your help.

that mod can cause issues, my advice is do not use the most outer ring with 81 tiles

Thank you very much, I tried a few of these (made sure graphics drivers were done. and I installed that mod.) Here's just a few things

Here is the updated Error I got from that new error mod (its amazing, thank you for that)
An exception occured during BuildingAI simulation step. Asset: Floating Garbage Collector BuildingID: 10571 Type: WaterCleanerAI Severity: High System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range. at WaterSimulation.LockWaterSource (uint16) <0x00047> at WaterCleanerAI.HandleWaterSource (uint16,Building+,int,single) <0x0016b> at WaterCleanerAI.ProduceGoods (uint16,Building+,Building/Frame+,int,int,Citizen/BehaviourData+,int,int,int,int,int,int) <0x0008e> at PlayerBuildingAI.SimulationStepActive (uint16,Building+,Building/Frame+) <0x009cb> at CommonBuildingAI.SimulationStep (uint16,Building+,Building/Frame+) <0x00e6d> at PlayerBuildingAI.SimulationStep (uint16,Building+,Building/Frame+) <0x0002f> at BuildingAI.SimulationStep (uint16,Building+) <0x00060> at (wrapper dynamic-method) CommonBuildingAI.SimulationStep_Patch1 (object,uint16,Building+) <0x00055> at HealkitMod.Patches.BuildingManagerPatch.SimulationStep (BuildingAI,uint16,Building+) <0x0004d>

Now, after seeing that. I deleted all my Floating Garbage Collectors, some fully deleted. But some didnt. The render of the object removed. but the actual object itself was still there (I could see it in the trash option in the toolbar.) This is what was happening yesterday, with the water sources. I had a look in my output file and I'm almost certain that is what you were seeing by "Is your graphic driver up to date? As you have d3d11 errors?"
(yes, it was the most up to date driver btw.)

So I assume, my issue is with that object. I've tried removing the object, saving the game & loading that new save. All before actually unpausing the game so I don't get the simulation error. But it still happens. Would you happen to know of a way to somehow go into my saves files, and somehow delete all the water cleaning objects through that? I think that might be my best bet.

I also got the error from Water Facilities & Water output. So I assume my issue is.. well water simulation.

I sometimes get this error, upon deleting one of the water objects. In this error I'm deleting a dam.

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at WaterSimulation.ReleaseWaterSource (UInt16 source) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at BuildingManager.ReleaseWaterSource (UInt16 building, .Building+ data) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at BuildingManager.ReleaseBuildingImplementation (UInt16 building, .Building+ data) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at BuildingManager.ReleaseBuilding (UInt16 building) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at BulldozeTool.DeleteBuildingImpl (UInt16 building) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at BulldozeTool+<DeleteBuilding>c__Iterator4.MoveNext () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at AsyncTask.Execute () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

Try using Move It to select and bulldoze what's remaining of the deleted trash collectors. If that doesn't help, then I suggest trying the Save Our Saves mod. Make sure it's enabled and that you restarted the game before loading your save, so it's a fresh load. Hopefully that mod can clean up the error for you.
