Painting grass?
I have a large portion of my airport that used to be a lake, normally, but I've only done it with a river, it turns into grass after a while, but this has stayed as sand (or whatever) for several days (human, not cim, thank you). The problem is that I can't find any grass to paint, concrete, gravel etc., yes, but no grass.

It doesn't have grass.

Try using the terrain tools in game. I think there's a sand option and if you select that, then use right click over the sand, it will remove it and should change it to grass.

Did you wait long enough? It takes a looong time before the terrain dries.

Coast or riverside that stays sand usually means the ground has a shallow slope to it. Try altering it to make the land/water boarder steeper and it should go away.
