Michel Ancel doesn't work at Ubisoft anymore anyway, there's not much point supporting this remaster. Rayman and BG&E won't be getting any more good games.

It feels like Sweet Baby or it's employees who was working at before Ubisoft already DEIfied BGE2.

Game looked ugly and unlikable and didn't feel like it's a sequel to BGE. I just hope that version of BGE2 was cancelled and at least restarted as direct sequel and with cartoonish graphics identical to 1st game just with better lighting (like Psychonauts 2) and with story that continues BGE directly and shows how about 10 years later Peyj infected by Doomz turning to dark side building empire on several planets and inside them feeding new doomz wity orphan children who he trafficking under cover up or orphan caring organization he built or something like this, while Jade who is still reporter, investigates his fishy activity on several planets and also trying to return him to good side. This what I and many fans expected after 1st game as logical continuation.
