Go into the savegame menu and select Delete on the save file.
Okay, this may sound kinda bad, but there's no actual deletion for specific saves, you have to get rid of the entire save file in order to get rid of any... If you're fine with this, tell me and I'll go find that file real quick.

Not sure why would you want that since in this game you can fortunatelly start a clean New Game without any unlocked rewards anytime.

Anyway, assuming you want to remove the whole data, just delete the file inside Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\???????\254700. As for individual saves, you can simply overwrite them.

Well, there's people like myself that like their saves to be organized so they can keep track of them.

How do you do that?

Oh um... It's in a pretty vague folder in the Steam directory. I'd find it and tell you which file it is, but I'm kinda on Linux now so I can't even install RE4 currently... Sorry.

I forgot about this thread completely, but I was looking to delete just single parts of the save file. You know how there's the 20 save slots? I wanted to delete say, slot 3 for example, but leave the rest of the data file untouched.

I have played RE4 for so many years I can't remember, at this point how many times I've beaten it, but I don't remember being able to delete individual saves in-game...

thanks for the tip guys, and yeah, some of us like to have organized save, during my first playthrough i saved in a new slmot at each chapter end so they are all taken.. If i knew i couldn't delete them withotu reseting every single data i would have never used all slots in the first place.. The UHD port of RE4 is just so bad it's crazy how they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up on every single part possible, like, i know we are used to lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc port but damn this one is hella bad

The original was trash, but at least it has mods. lol What blows my mind is that they removed the ability to individually delete files, like that's the most arbitrary thing to remove ever.
