It's called an analogy.
I wouldn't be surprised in fact, that 70% or so of the current positive review are jokes anyway, so this could be an under 10% actual score in reality (not saying as a game it deserve it, I couldn't say, again not played a single second, but the delivery was worth every negative score it got)
I have not left a review yet as I will probably give it a few weeks for everything to shake out out. Sort of - benefit of the doubt thing here. I have played flight sims since around the Flight Sim 3.0, maybe 4.0 era and historically speaking, MSFS has never been perfect out of the box. However, since the early 2000s, it has been the community that comes in over the top to give MSFS all of the extras. As long as MSFS can come out with a platform that allows community modifications, I think they will continue to lead the market in flight sims. I know a lot of people will say - why isn't such and such (name any community mod here from weather to additional planes) in the game. Simple answer - MS and Asobo can't do it all. Their team isn't big enough and timelines as a company wouldn't allow infinite development.
Sorry to those that feel like they didn't get what they paid for and I really hope you give the studio and community a chance.
Sorry to those life long simmers that thought this game or MSFS2020 was going to be perfect in every way. It's just not possible.
I don't think anyone here expected perfect in every way. Most probably expected perfect in no way. But it would be nice if it actually ran. 6 hours in game time according to Steam. What that time is actually a bunch of waiting and 3 flight that crashed to desktop within 2 minutes. I have owned all MS flight sims since the 1st one in the early eighties. Always been a big fan, In 2020, I would agree to most of what you said, but to change nothing and expect 2024 would be fine is a level of stupidity that most adolescents would be able to figure out.
Haha, I know French culture. They couldn't care less if paychecks keep coming on time end of the month.
