Hi, I'm an old The Hunter Classic player, I noticed that the game is going through some correction and life improvement updates. But the administrators are failing a lot in optimizing the game, before this new wave of updates my game ran at a fixed 60 fps but after the updates they fluctuated a lot, reaching 15fps when I use binoculars. I have a notebook with amd ryzen 5 5500u 2gb of dedicated vram 256gb ssd and 12gb of ram, in other words my notebook is relatively strong for games I can play several fps at more than 60 fps, only the hunter classic doesn't even run at idle about 60fps. "Finally, I wanted to ask the developers to try to optimize the game."

There haven't been any updates that touch performance for a VERY LONG time now, at least none I've noticed or that others have reported.

I've personally never had optimization issues with classic in my years of playing (Other than when I played on my very bad laptop, but that thing can barely even run roblox so only counting my pc here)

Only remember at the top of my head one time, when the entire map of timbergold trail turned pink and then crashed my game

Although never had that happen again after that, so I assume they quickly fixed it

yes, they did not specify an update that changes performance, but it obviously had. and it is already a common problem that this game was never optimized to run with the integrated video card, so I wanted you to take a look at this, you can see that the forum has several people with this problem, some with a video card and even so no solution

Sorry to bring you the bad news, because that's never going to happen.

They haven't been working full time on this game for years now, and if they do work on the game they fix some minor bugs, or release event related content. We haven't even seen any new gear or animal in more than a year, and we haven't had a new map in like 5 or 6 years.

They're not going to optimise the game for a small group of people, the costs of that optimisation effort would exceed the financial return.

Look at what the majority uses on Steam:

With a dedicated video card like that you would never have a problem to run this game at 60fps everywhere. Heck, I get more than 400fps on a map like Whitehart with one of these cards listed. Having said that, can you now understand that they have no need to optimise the game?
