Swear it's the same for every animal in classic? (Ikno cotw is different)

Like 10 em$ 15 if late or 2000 gm$ 2500 if late.
(Correct me if im wrong, but that's what I remember)

I usually save any em$ I get from events for taxidermy.

I didn't taxi an animal in a while but I think Nicpus is right about being the same amount for all.
BUT
It will be a couple bucks more if you decide to taxi it only at the end of your hunt.
On your profile page, at your last hunt stats, you'll see a timer under each animal killed, to which there is a limit to decide to taxi it or not. With this, it cost a bit more compare to, in the game at time of kill taxi.

Also, if I remember correctly, if you decide to take a trophy pic instead, at time of kill, you will not have the choice to taxi it then. It's either or.

You can look at it before to taxidermize directly!

You can still taxidermize the animal after taking a trophy shot.
Ok, thx. Will check it out next time. Was pretty sure we could not after taking a trophy pic.

You can likely still Taxidermise it, but I can't see how it will be classed as at the same time cost wise. You select trophy shot, edit, pose and take the pic, and it bounces you right back into 3D world, not the harvesting screen. If you wanted to taxidermise it you would have to do it through the Hunting Statistics screen, either in the launcher or a web browser, where it displays the "Last Hunt" even if you're still active in it. The taxidermise option would show as normal there alongside the animal and the countdown timer. I'm not aware if this charges less if the hunt is still active, as opposed to one you have ended.

Yes, exactly how I've seen it for as long as I can remember & been playing.

There was a UI change awhile back (4-5 years?) which added the in-harvest-screen taxidermy option that we see now. Before that, there was a prompt that would appear AFTER exiting the harvest screen or taking the trophy shot.
