When it like brings up the "wElCoMe HuNtEr" (I forgor wot it says, been awhile) I write in my password and email and it will tell me "WRONG PASSWORD" (Despite me knowing it's correct) now what you do is after writing it in and it telling you it's wrong, you close that page then close the launcher, then re-open it and boom it now remembers you

IF that don't work, then try to restart ya pc and IF that don't work then I don't know. Could try sending in a ticket for support

But them two usually work for me when classic is being a lil bit silly n decides to forget me

Yeah, i have the same problem, been trying for a week to try and login to my steam account, driving me crazy, is there anybody who could point me in the right direction, been a hunter since 2017, first time with this problem.

All good now, found problem, was on my end.

When I installed the hunter I did it on their website and they told me that Bargearse was not available (so I had to use another name). I have been able to change my name but randomly, when I go to play the game, it will take me to their website to sign up. I also randomly get told only members can post on the forum so I have to log in on the game website.

Thank you. Support was very helpful and did all that they could. It only happens from time to time so there must still be a record of the original details somewhere in my game files even though I deleted the game and reinstalled it from Steam.

When you delete the game nothings changes in the game. CS are the only ones who can delete your game completely but everything will be gone. Nothing will be saved. This is how I do it but you have to be prepared to lose everything. You'll be starting with a brand new game. The game won't know you and all content you bought and achievements will be gone. It's a commitment i've done 30-40 times. I just did it yesterday. Look at my account and it will only show 1 day of hunting.

If you think your account has some deep rooted problem it's the only way to delete your account. You deleting your account and then installing it again will just bring back your account exactly the way it was when you deleted it. Only CS can delete it for good.

I would have thought you don't even need to delete the game. Just get a new Steam id and different game login id and login the browser and launcher with the new id. I don't know why you delete your account so many times. It clashes with your ideal of 100% clean kills. You must have amassed enough kills to warrant a high skill level with the caplock, that makes sure it hits right where you're aiming, yet you re-start at Level 1 @ 0%, which is where the bullets are most random, even if you're aiming right on the money to drop the animal where it stands.

If it were me I'd just ignore any of the fancy crap I no longer wanted to use, but that's me. To each their own.

Starting back at level one is fine with me. I don't want help from the game. If I can get kills from level one. Why would I want it to be easier?

I never got along with the caplock because I hate the version they copied. It's so far removed for the the real Hawken and the one I used to hunt.. In my present account i'm using the 45/70 Buffalo which is actually a Sharps 1848. So, it still fits into my mountain man era.

I took the name Jim_Bridger this time. A very well known mountain man from that era. I have no plans to change my account anymore. We'll see how that works out.

When I deleted my game I had not been playing long so I had nothing of value to lose. I still get taken to the game page to install Steam etc but I just close everything and start again. That usually ;pads the game.
