Birds Leading to Dead Animals?
I was in Timbergold Trails when I heard a large amount of bird call from what sounded like corvids, and saw several birds circling over a spot the same way vultures do, and decided to check it out. I found a dead female Rocky Mountain Elk, her hindquarters bloodied, and when I went to tag her with the HunterMate it only told me weight and wound time, not how she died. I figured it was the grey wolves responsible since I had shot one that had come from the same direction. Has anyone else experienced this and if so is it just wolves that do this or do other predators in the game take down different prey animals?

Those dead elk spawn randomly throughout the map when you start a new hunt on Timbergold Trails. They periodically attract packs of wolves, which come to feed on the carcass. If you find one while walking around, it's only a matter of time before wolves begin to show up, making hunting and tracking them a lot easier. I usually set up a tree stand near the carcass, it's a pretty effective hunting strategy. If only they worked for grizzly bears as well!
