I've done some research, and on the FF page, it claims that Omni-bot comes pre-packaged with the game, unless I didn't read something correctly. Yet when you actually try to spawn a bot in-game, it says "Omni-bot not installed." As far as I can tell, there's no way to download and install it.

If there is, it'd be greatly appreciated if someone bestowed that knowledge upon all of us plebians.

Omibot support was dropped many years ago but I forget the full reasoning. I remember it causing a lot of issues though through various testing.

Ohh pls pls bots. Bots keeps near death games alive pls. If I play double action boogalo, day of defeat (rcbot), opposing force, ut 99 and other death titles because they have bots.

All multiplayer games need bots in every stage of it.
It's like kliksphilip said, they are there to serve as ghostly companions after the game starts losing players.

@Mudcrab It is pretty much essential to have bots in exclusively multiplayer games. A developer's userbase for a given online game drops significantly faster when there isn't an option to play with bots.

I'd imagine you'd have to have someone willing to develop them for this game and then get with squeek and see if you could implement them.

there are games still be played though usually around 5-8pm CST all week. Weekends occasionally at different times. Sunday night is usually a full server.
