Hello!

We're excited to announce Fortress Forever's upcoming engine upgrade to the 2013 Source Engine SDK!

This update comes with Linux support, massive technical and graphical improvements in all parts of the engine and general game feel, alongside fixes of several longstanding bugs. Having done a lot of work behind the scenes to modernize our workflow, we are hoping to actively maintain this branch going forward.

The update is currently available as a Beta branch under the game's Properties page. Once installed, you will be prompted to select which version you want to play when you run the game.

Keep in mind that switching to the 2013 branch will leave your 2006 installation intact. Both versions will be installed simultaneously, and are completely separate.
