Tales of Graces F R (Reshade Setup) And Comparison photos!
I'm trying to install Reshade I need to know what API this game is? Thank you.
If the game uses different API based off of GPU. Then for that matter I use a RTX 4080.

I see in the requirements it uses DX11? But I don't know if that's like you know the minimum etc. Most games use DX12 or Vulkan these days.

iameatingjam and Gias- Thank you yes you need to choose DX 10,11,12 it's all one option!
Comparison photos and shader suggestions coming soon if I can remember how to upload.

Using three shaders Clarity, Vibrant and fake HDR. All of these are using the default settings except for Fake HDR I found default Fake HDR made skin to pale so I changed the values too...

Fake HDR Settings.
Power 1.300
Radius 1 0.802
Radius 2 0.828

Again I only just set this up with basic testing might be perfectly fine or maybe some of you can fiddle with it and come up with something better or at least more to your own tastes.

this game uses d3d11
If you don't know, or reshade is unsure based on file structure, its pretty safe to use the dx 10,11,12 option, that is usually the case.

Thanks yes I did not realize 10,11,12 was all the same so I tired it and it works. I am going to try to share my current Reshade setup using just three shaders. I am going to upload comparison photos if I can remember how. lol

I bet we might get a pc mod making Vulkan the default engine, this would make the game have even better performance and work on even more low end systems :).

It would make the game have more latency and not support VRR. That other stuff, maybe.

Perhaps a bit but I think the game has to written from the ground up to really take advantage of Vulkan's full potential. Besides, I don't think fermi supports vulkan so this would raise the generation of gpu required, even if it might gain a performance advantage on newer but lower end hardware.

The system requirements look pretty low to me already, though I haven't played yet.

It's you! Your the entire reason this post exists. And no I'm not kidding. You introduced me to Reshade I believe. In the very least I know it's because of you that I even enjoyed being able to play Tales of Vesperia and I first heard of Reshade in the same thread I believe.

That Tales of Vesperia like utility add-on to fix the stutter/frame times. Your a legend to me! Thank you so much Kaldaien!
