Place your bets, will it be ruined by Steam Input?
Tales of Arise was for no reason. Versions that use XInput exist on other stores and work even when the Steam client does not.

Yeah, I was pleased.

It uses Windows.Gaming.Input for Xbox and HID for PlayStation.

There is one problem that is going to affect DualSense Edge users, and that's the fact that Unity doesn't support the controller :)

Thankfully Special K fixes that automatically. DualSense and DualSense Edge have the same HID protocol, but Unity doesn't recognize the product ID and DualSense Edge users will get no input.
Anyone managing to get Playstation button prompts?

anyone else fighting a constant "down input" in menu's/ my copy is completely unusable. literally unplugging 100% of my input devices doesnt stop the menu feaking out.

I'm also having this issue, not sure what could be causing it. I also unplugged all of my devices and checked device manager for any virtual controllers I may have forgotten about.

Edit: Fixed it by uninstalling vJoy, even though it wasn't emulating any controllers.

No luck getting the PS5 Glyphs to display for me despite Steam input being disabled. Trying to use a DualSense Edge

Confirmed this works. Thanks.

Doing so means you can't use the trackpad buttons for Start / Select though. Gotta use the tiny ass buttons instead.

Donno why they didn't just make it an in-game toggle.

That's the reason why I don't use vJoy, it messes up different games for me.

What was wrong with Tales of Arise and controllers? I didn't have a single issue O_o

I am also having the up/down input issue where it acts as if one is held down. I have unplugged all the input devices minus my mouse. I have disabled steam input. I have restarted steam and reinstalled the game. Nothing seems to fix this. I am not using any separate software for controllers either.
Am not sure what else I can do.

As I mentioned, Special K can fix the DualSense Edge issues. It's a common problem in Unity Engine and fixed automatically :)
