"You are banned from playing online" What?

Edit: Turns out if you use HTML tags in your Steam display name, you'll recieve a ban. It's pathetic that this is happening, but just a warning for anyone who's thinking of doing it. The HTML bug is being patched in the next update so I really don't see why they're banning people over this, but again, it's pathetic.

Found something online about being being banned from matchmaking like myself who then are allowed back on a few hours later, like a bug or something, idk

If you sit idle during a RANKED match then you wil be kicked and a temporary ban will be put into effect for a 15 minute period for all matchmaking.

Not sure about for the hourly ban though

It's not a usual ban though, that's the problem. When I go to play online I get "You are not logged into the Rocket League servers" and then a little red box says "You are banned from playing online".
