Some players getting "perfect luck" in games..

These guys manage to hit the ball over my reads when I am perfectly positioned to hit it back with an aerial but some how it goes through me.

If they wildly hit it or get a pinch off me it ALWAYS goes for the goal.

If the ball bounces off a wall, the ball self adjusts and does a different angle than it should and lands right in front of them.

The ball seems to have no collider if I am going to hit it in the goal but works fine if I am just hitting it randomly.

Ball angles adjust to go AWAY from the goal even if the way it was hit should go straight into the goal.

It seems that my games are really inconsistent. Some games I am dominating up by 7 and hitting every shot perfectly and other games it feels like my car is a ghost and I am living in some sort of Rocket League Hell where even the most well timed and perfect positioned shots just miss.

Even a slow moving ball and a gentle tap from 5 inches from the goal some how either doesn't register as a hit or registers as hit from a different angle.

Some hits from the flat bottom in an aerial cause the ball to shoot off in the opposite direction, most of the time STRAIGHT at my goal even though the angle it was hit would make that impossible.

I go to training mode to see if it's me and I do just fine and hit every goal and make every save. Then go back to the game and just whiff constantly even though I timed it perfectly and used the flat bottom to hit the ball.

I always have below 50 ping and I think 40 is too high. It seems that whenever I am in a game with someone who had 100+ ping then it happens more often.

It's like the server registers them as if they were 0 ping and I am 500 ping.

Sometimes they can completely whiff the ball but the ball will still register it as a hit or I will hit it first and it will completely ignore my hit.

Incredibly frustrating.

Is it because I stopped buying keys?

I feel you mate..Whats ur FPS? Sometimes if I get FPS drops, I hit the ball on my screen, but it shows like I barely touched it, goes right through me, then on replay it shows that I completely missed it..

Doesn't happen that often, but it still happens.

And those bounces that go straight to your goal, it's just unlucky. Stop playing for sometime, get some rest, then try again :) It's probably loss of concentration mixed with unluck.

Then it just happens to "bounce" perfectly off of his car with enough velocity that doesn't even make sense for the ball to travel all the way back to the other side of the field, then some how rolls in perfectly even though that player whiffed every single easy setup early in the game.

I experienced exactly what you have. Its some kinda latency issue. Sometimes cars glitch a bit. Had good fps and noone with ping issues.

Could it be connected with the RL EU-servers ISP issues?

Well, the problem with the ball going right through you I guess is because of lag or server lag.

Where the ball is, is handled by the server, the server also sends where your opponents are.
Sometimes it doesn't send the data fast enough between you and the other opponents/team mates. Thus your game tries to predict where the ball and the other players are, this means that sometimes you think you hit a ball, but in reality either another player hit it, or it isn't exactly where the game 'predicted' it would be. so when this happens the ball goes right through you or you touch it at a different angle.

At least thats my theory on it, cause I had it happen a few times to me too and it is ever so slightly frustrating when the ball shows as if it's right in front of you and then next second it just goes right through you/above you because it isn't where the game thought it was
